Eligibility
- High school senior continuing at a North Carolina college, university, community college or two-year school.
- A parent, grandparent or legal guardian must be a Piedmont Electric member.
- Relatives of Piedmont Electric employees/directors or Helping Hand Foundation directors are ineligible.
Requirements
- Online application, most recent unofficial high school transcript and one reference letter.
- 45–60-second personal-statement video.
- Required written response of up to 600 words explaining Piedmont Electric and how it differs from other businesses; academic honors and extracurricular lists.
