Eligibility

  • Be a North Carolina resident from a qualifying Golden LEAF county and attend a participating community college.
  • Curriculum pathway: full-time enrollment and financial need demonstrated through FAFSA.
  • Workforce pathway: eligible course/pathway of at least 96 hours leading to a state- or industry-recognized credential; financial need determined by the college.

Requirements

  • Complete the Golden LEAF Community College application and submit to the college financial-aid office.
  • Curriculum applicants complete FAFSA; workforce applicants follow the college's need-documentation instructions.
