Eligibility

  • Public or private high school senior with primary legal residence in Buncombe County.
  • Plan higher education in a healthcare-related field.
  • At least a 3.0 GPA (weighting unspecified), good SAT/ACT performance, school/community activities, responsibility and compassion.

Requirements

  • Online application, personal statement, academic/activities records and two recommendation letters.
  • Provide SAT OR ACT scores and household financial information where requested by the current packet.
  • Additional 250–300-word essay on healthcare career interests, educational goals and the scholarship's impact.
