Eligibility

  • Be a Silver-Line employee or employee's child/grandchild, with the employee completing at least one year of service at application.
  • Be a secondary-school senior, equivalent-level student or secondary-school graduate.
  • Children of Silver-Line officers are ineligible.
  • Selection considers need, academic potential, character and activities/service/work.

Requirements

  • Complete SmarterSelect application and personal statement with two recommendations.
  • Document the employment/family relationship and required selection information.
  • For later applications, continue to meet criteria; up to three reapplications are permitted during undergraduate study.
