Eligibility

  • Be a staff employee of Mountain Community Health Partnership, Incorporated with at least two years of employment.
  • Pursue a healthcare-related certificate, two-year or four-year curriculum.
  • Executives, officers, management staff, board members and medical/supervisory providers such as physicians, nurse practitioners and physician assistants are excluded.
  • Express a commitment to remain with the employer after education; seniority is considered.

Requirements

  • Complete the SmarterSelect application, personal statement and two recommendations.
  • Document employment, intended healthcare study and continuing-employment commitment.
  • Previous recipients may reapply two years after an award; unsuccessful applicants after one year.
