Eligibility

  • Graduating senior whose primary home receives CCEC service, accepted at a four-year college/university or two-year community/technical college.
  • One winner each from East Carteret, West Carteret, Croatan and Havelock; fifth award considers remaining applicants, including other schools and homeschool students.
  • Spouse, child, grandchild, great-grandchild, sibling, aunt/uncle or niece/nephew of a CCEC employee/director (including adoption and in-law relationships) is ineligible.

Requirements

  • Application with household/account details and financial-need statement; cover letter, transcript, activities/honors, FAFSA OR latest tax return and publication headshot. Test scores only if available.
