Eligibility

  • Be a high-school junior woman residing in Buncombe County.
  • Attend a Buncombe County public/private high school, NC School of Science and Mathematics or UNC School of the Arts.
  • Have minimum weighted GPA of 3.0, strong character and noteworthy leadership benefiting school/community.

Requirements

  • Complete the SmarterSelect application and provide two recommendation letters.
  • Explain leadership and achievements; confirm permitted use of education/enrichment funds.
