Eligibility

  • Personally be an Acclaim member in good standing; the broader Foundation membership rule does not replace Acclaim membership for Ed Thomas.
  • Published sponsor rules specify age 16+, unweighted GPA 3.0+, and accepted/enrolled accredited college/university study; plan full-time upcoming-year enrollment and confirm current fund terms.

Requirements

  • Provide transcript/unweighted GPA, personal membership information, school/community activities and the current portal's essay response.
  • Confirm current prompt and word limit; the sponsor still displays its 2026–27 personal-finance prompt.
