Eligibility

  • First bachelor’s degree, full-time 12+ credits at Flagstaff or an eligible Desert Campus. Campus eligibility should be confirmed for your program.
  • Fall 2027 entry; core GPA determines tier. Arizona: 3.75+ Lumberjack, 3.50–3.74 President’s, 3.40–3.49 Dean’s with Distinction, 3.00–3.39 Dean’s, admitted–2.99 Opportunity.

Requirements

  • Fall 2027 merit awards require first-year NAU-managed housing AND a meal plan. Budget these costs separately.
  • Tuition-only fall/spring support, up to eight semesters; renew with 2.0 NAU cumulative GPA and full-time enrollment. Standard NAU tuition awards do not stack; ask about specific exceptions.
  • Accept admission, pay enrollment fee and provide final transcripts. Spring 2027 uses 2026–27 rules, not this table. No exact final merit cutoff published.
