Native American Vocal Scholars Program

Eligibility

• Be an incoming accepted or currently enrolled undergraduate student at an accredited U.S. college or university.
• Major or intend to major in voice.
• Vocal study may include classical, contemporary, traditional, musical theatre, or interdisciplinary vocal studies.
• Be an enrolled member of a federally recognized or state-recognized Tribe or a descendant of an enrolled member.

Requirements

• Complete the Native American Vocal Scholars Program application.
• Provide information about undergraduate enrollment or acceptance.
• Provide information documenting qualifying Tribal membership or descendancy.
• Complete required application responses concerning vocal study, educational goals, and Tribal community connection.

How to Apply

2. 2Confirm that voice is or will be your undergraduate major.
3. 3Gather qualifying Tribal documentation.
4. 4Complete the annual scholarship application.
5. 5Clearly explain your artistic goals, commitment to vocal study, and connection to your Tribal community.
6. 6Submit the complete application during the annual application period.
