Eligibility

  • Be a Montana student or be enrolled at a Montana educational institution.
  • Be pursuing certification or specialized training leading to employment in forest products, forest management, logging, or an associated support industry.
  • Be a U.S. citizen or legal resident.
  • Qualifying fields may include welding, metal fabrication, boiler operation, diesel mechanics, commercial driving, equipment operation, electrical technology, transportation, and related trades.

Requirements

  • Complete the current MWPA Foundation Trades Scholarship application.
  • Submit a transcript.
  • Provide all additional information requested by the MWPA Foundation.
