Eligibility

  • Be a SAFE member or Corning Credit Union member in good standing and over age 16.
  • Have established plans within the next 12 months for education, development or career advancement, including vocational studies or military enrollment.
  • Past SAFE scholarship recipients cannot receive a second award.

Requirements

  • The 2026 deadline was April 30; a 2027 cycle has not been confirmed.
  • Complete the packet's short-answer questions about your intended path, community impact, activities and leadership.
  • Only selected recipients submit a signed W-9, enrollment or acceptance evidence and government identification before disbursement; the sponsor gives June 15 as the documentation deadline.

  2. 2Complete and certify the official packet; submit to a Corning Credit Union branch or mail to SAFE using the sponsor's instructions.
