Eligibility

  • Personally be a member in good standing of a North or South Carolina credit union; parent/family membership alone does not qualify.
  • Have unweighted GPA of at least 3.0 on a four-point scale.
  • Enroll or plan to enroll full-time in the upcoming year.
  • Check additional criteria for each partner or Foundation award category.

Requirements

  • Complete the portal application with transcript/GPA, credit-union membership details, education plans, activities/work and essay response.
  • Complete financial-need information to be considered for relevant need-based awards.

How to Apply

  1. 1Current Foundation portal accepts 2027–2028 applications October 1, 2026–February 1, 2027; confirm closing time in the application.
  2. 2After selection, complete required verification forms before checks are sent to schools.
