The Missouri River Energy Services Full-Time Undergraduate Scholarship supports high school seniors from MRES member-utility households who plan to pursue full-time undergraduate education related to the electric industry. Eligible programs may include engineering, electrical technology, mathematics, science, energy management, accounting, communications, economics, and other fields connected to electric-industry careers.

Eligibility

  • Be a high school senior.
  • Reside in a household receiving electric service from one of the 61 Missouri River Energy Services member utilities.
  • Attend an eligible high school designated by MRES.
  • Plan to enroll full-time in an accredited two-year college, four-year college or university, or vocational-technical school.
  • Pursue a course of study related to careers in the electric industry.
  • Eligible study areas may include electrical technology, electrical engineering, other engineering disciplines, mathematics, science, energy management, accounting, communications, economics, or other related fields.

Requirements

  • Complete the Missouri River Energy Services scholarship application.
  • Provide information establishing residence within an eligible MRES member-utility household.
  • Provide information about the applicant's planned postsecondary institution and course of study.
  • Submit all supporting materials required by the applicable scholarship cycle.

How to Apply
