Eligibility

  • Be a Montana resident or have strong ties to Montana's agricultural community or seed production.
  • Be enrolled or planning to enroll in an accredited postsecondary institution, including a four-year university, community or technical college, or vocational or trade school.
  • Have a minimum 3.0 GPA.
  • Maintain at least a 3.0 GPA.
  • Demonstrate commitment to Montana agriculture, particularly seed certification or crop development.
  • Demonstrate commitment to improving Montana's agricultural and rural communities.
  • Preference is given to MSGA members or dependents of members.
  • Preference is given to students studying agriculture, plant or crop science, seed technology, agronomy, horticulture, agricultural education, agriculture-related trades, or related fields benefiting Montana agriculture and rural communities.

Requirements

  • Complete the MSGA Scholarship Application Form.
  • Submit a one-page essay.
  • Submit a current official or unofficial transcript.
  • Submit one or two letters of recommendation.
  • Submit a resume highlighting work experience, extracurricular involvement, volunteerism, or leadership.
