Missouri's Cattlemen Foundation Scholarship Program

Eligibility

• Be a Missouri resident.
• Be a graduating high school senior or current college student.
• Historically, applicants have been required to be a current paid member of the Missouri Junior Cattlemen's Association or have a parent or legal guardian who is a current paid member of the Missouri Cattlemen's Association.
• Historically, applicants have been required to maintain at least a 2.5 GPA.
• Demonstrate leadership through extracurricular activities, agricultural involvement, employment, or community activities.
• Preference may be given to students attending or planning to attend Missouri colleges or universities.
• Financial need may be considered.

Requirements

• Complete the Missouri's Cattlemen Foundation scholarship application when the next application cycle opens.
• Provide academic and enrollment information.
• Historically, applicants have submitted a high school or college transcript.
• Historically, applicants have submitted three letters of recommendation, including one from a Missouri Cattlemen's Association member.
• Complete any required essay or written response.
• Top applicants may be invited to participate in an interview during the Missouri Cattle Industry Convention & Trade Show.

2. 2Complete the Foundation scholarship application.
3. 3Submit all required academic information, recommendations, and supporting documentation.
4. 4Submit the completed application by the published deadline.
5. 5If selected as a finalist, participate in the scholarship interview process.
