Eligibility

  • Be a U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or otherwise lawfully present.
  • Be the eligible spouse or child of a qualifying military member.
  • Qualifying military service must meet Missouri's combat-service and veteran residency requirements.
  • Children must generally be younger than 25 and satisfy dependent-status requirements.
  • Enroll at least half-time as an undergraduate at a participating Missouri public college or university.
  • Submit all requested eligibility information.

Requirements

  • Complete the electronic or paper grant application.
  • Provide documentation required to establish the veteran's qualifying combat service.
  • Provide relationship and dependent documentation.
  • Complete any sections requiring third-party certification.
