The Missouri Corn Scholarship supports Missouri students from farms or rural communities who are pursuing agriculture-related college degrees. Separate eligibility paths are available for graduating high school seniors entering college and current college juniors preparing for their senior year.

Eligibility

  • Be a Missouri resident from a Missouri farm or rural area.
  • High school applicants must be graduating seniors planning to attend a two-year or four-year college or university.
  • High school applicants must plan to major in an agriculture field.
  • College applicants must currently be college juniors.
  • College applicants must have completed at least 60 but fewer than 90 semester credit hours at the time of application.
  • College applicants must be enrolled at a four-year college or university.
  • College applicants must major in an agriculture field.

Requirements

  • Complete the Missouri Corn Scholarship application.
  • Submit an official high school or college transcript.
  • Submit at least one letter of recommendation under the most recently published application requirements.
  • Selected recipients must assist in staffing a Missouri Corn event.

How to Apply

  1. 1Confirm eligibility through either the high school senior or college junior pathway.
  2. 2Complete the Missouri Corn Scholarship application when the annual cycle opens.
  3. 3Submit the required official transcript.
  4. 4Request and submit the required recommendation material.
  5. 5Submit all materials by the deadline published for the applicable cycle.
  6. 6If selected, participate in a designated Missouri Corn event such as a golf tournament, sporting clay event, fair, conference, or other approved activity.
