Missouri A+ Scholarship Program

The Missouri A+ Scholarship Program provides tuition assistance to eligible graduates of designated A+ high schools who attend participating Missouri community colleges, vocational or technical schools, and certain private two-year vocational or technical schools.

This scholarship offers more than one application cycle. Review each window carefully before applying.
Eligibility
- Graduate from an eligible A+ designated high school and complete the A+ high school requirements.
- Be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.
- Enroll full-time at a participating Missouri community college or vocational/technical school, subject to disability exceptions.
- Seek an eligible degree or certificate.
- Not already hold an associate or bachelor's degree.
- Not pursue a theology or divinity program.
- Make a good-faith effort to secure available federal financial aid.
- Meet applicable academic progress and course-completion requirements.
Requirements
- Complete all A+ eligibility requirements through the student's high school.
- Have A+ eligibility documented on the high school transcript.
- Complete the FAFSA each academic year, or the Federal Student Aid Estimator where applicable.
- Provide any materials required by the participating postsecondary institution.
How to Apply
- 1Work with the high school's A+ Coordinator to complete the A+ requirements before graduation.
- 2Enroll at a participating Missouri institution.
- 3Complete the FAFSA or applicable federal aid estimator.
- 4Provide the institution with documentation showing A+ eligibility.
- 5The participating institution requests reimbursement from MDHEWD on the student's behalf.
