Eligibility

  • Be a resident of Missoula County, Montana.
  • Be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.
  • Be a Missoula County high school senior or a Missoula County resident currently enrolled as an undergraduate at an accredited postsecondary institution.
  • Pursue a course of study related to natural resources, conservation, or stewardship.
  • Eligible fields may include agriculture, agribusiness, animal science, rangeland management, plant science, forestry, wildlife biology, environmental science, sustainability, land-use planning, hydrology, water resources, conservation, ecology, natural-resource management, soil science, watershed science, environmental law, or environmental policy.

Requirements

  • Complete the online MCD scholarship application.
  • Submit a letter of recommendation from an instructor familiar with your work.
  • Submit an unofficial transcript.
  • Submit an acceptance letter to an accredited college when applicable.
  • Complete all required application questions.
