Minnesota State Fair Skilled Trade Scholarship

Eligibility

• Be a Minnesota resident.
• Be entering a skilled trade career or furthering existing skilled trade training.
• Attend or plan to attend qualifying postsecondary education, apprenticeship, technical school, vocational school, or other skilled trade training.
• Applicants may be of any age.
• Meet the Minnesota State Fair's annual scholarship requirements.

Requirements

• Complete the online Minnesota State Fair Scholarship application.
• Submit a letter of recommendation.
• Describe past involvement with the Minnesota State Fair.
• Describe anticipated participation in the current Minnesota State Fair.
• Explain why you want to enter a skilled trade profession.
• Describe community service or volunteer involvement.
• Explain future educational and career goals.

8. 8Request and upload the required recommendation letter.
9. 9Submit the complete application before the annual deadline.
10. 10If selected, provide proof of qualifying paid tuition or training costs and complete required donor thank-you correspondence.
