The Minnesota Credit Union Foundation Scholarship Council Scholarship provides statewide educational awards to members of credit unions affiliated with the Minnesota Credit Union Network. Eligibility

  • Be a member in good standing of a credit union affiliated with the Minnesota Credit Union Network.
  • Have a separate credit union account from a parent or guardian.
  • Be either a traditional applicant who is a current high school or PSEO student graduating during the applicable year or a qualifying non-traditional applicant.
  • Non-traditional applicants may include previous high school graduates, current college students, and students returning to postsecondary education after time away.
  • Be enrolled or plan to attend an accredited nonprofit educational institution in an undergraduate or graduate program.
  • Undergraduate, master's, and doctoral programs may qualify.
  • Be enrolled in at least one course at the accredited institution during the applicable scholarship period.
  • Submit information that is accurate and solely the authentic work of the applicant.
  • Not be an immediate family or household member of a Minnesota Foundation Scholarship Council member.

Requirements

  • Register for the Minnesota Credit Union Foundation Scholarship Council application portal.
  • Complete the online scholarship application.
  • Provide credit union membership information.
  • Provide educational and enrollment information.
  • Complete the annual scholarship essay.
  • Submit all required information before the annual deadline.
  • If selected, provide the required enrollment documentation by the recipient verification deadline.
