Minnesota Credit Union Foundation Scholarship

Eligibility

• Be a member in good standing of a credit union affiliated with the Minnesota Credit Union Network.
• Have a separate credit union account from a parent or guardian.
• Be either a traditional applicant who is a current high school or PSEO student graduating during the applicable year or a qualifying non-traditional applicant.
• Non-traditional applicants may include previous high school graduates, current college students, and students returning to postsecondary education after time away.
• Be enrolled or plan to attend an accredited nonprofit educational institution in an undergraduate or graduate program.
• Undergraduate, master's, and doctoral programs may qualify.
• Be enrolled in at least one course at the accredited institution during the applicable scholarship period.
• Submit information that is accurate and solely the authentic work of the applicant.
• Not be an immediate family or household member of a Minnesota Foundation Scholarship Council member.

Requirements

• Register for the Minnesota Credit Union Foundation Scholarship Council application portal.
• Complete the online scholarship application.
• Provide credit union membership information.
• Provide educational and enrollment information.
• Complete the annual scholarship essay.
• Submit all required information before the annual deadline.
• If selected, provide the required enrollment documentation by the recipient verification deadline.

3. 3Register for the FSC online scholarship portal.
4. 4Create and complete the scholarship application.
5. 5Provide the requested educational and enrollment information.
6. 6Write the annual scholarship essay using only your own authentic work.
7. 7Save the application as a draft while completing any remaining required information.
8. 8Submit the complete application before the annual deadline.
9. 9If selected, submit the required documentation by the recipient verification deadline.
