In addition to the all-expenses-paid educational trip, the selected student receives a $1,000 scholarship from Mille Lacs Energy Cooperative.

  • Be a current high school junior.
  • Be a dependent of a parent or guardian who is a member of Mille Lacs Energy Cooperative.
  • Meet the current requirements of the MLEC Electric Cooperative Youth Tour selection process.
  • Be available to participate in the Electric Cooperative Youth Tour in Washington, D.C. if selected.

  • Complete the Mille Lacs Energy Cooperative Youth Tour application.
  • Meet the MLEC member-family eligibility requirement.
  • Participate in the Youth Tour selection process.

How to Apply
