The Michigan Society of Professional Engineers (MSPE) Scholarship Program supports Michigan high school seniors who plan to earn an engineering degree at an ABET-accredited college or university in Michigan and pursue a career in engineering. One application is used to consider eligible students for MSPE memorial, university-specific, and other participating scholarship awards.

Eligibility
- Be a high school senior at the time of application.
- Be a Michigan resident.
- Be a U.S. citizen at the time of application.
- Be accepted into an engineering degree program at an ABET-accredited college or university in Michigan.
- Intend to earn an engineering degree and enter the practice of engineering after graduation.
- Have at least a 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale based on the sophomore and junior years of high school.
- Computer Science is not considered an eligible engineering major for this scholarship program.
Requirements
- Complete the online MSPE Scholarship Application.
- Submit a list of current senior-year classes.
- Submit an official high school transcript.
- Submit an SAT score.
- Write a 250-word essay explaining how you were influenced to pursue an engineering career.
- Complete an application for free student membership in MSPE/NSPE.
- Provide information about extracurricular activities, leadership, honors, and other accomplishments.

- 2Complete the online MSPE Scholarship Application when the annual cycle opens.
- 3Provide your academic record and current senior-year course information.
- 4Submit an official high school transcript and SAT score.
- 5Prepare the required 250-word engineering-career essay.
- 6Complete the free MSPE/NSPE student membership application.
- 7Provide information about extracurricular activities, leadership, honors, and college-level coursework completed during high school.
- 8Submit the complete application online before the annual deadline.
- 9Watch for confirmation that MSPE received the application.
- 10Be prepared for a possible interview with a member of the Scholarship Selection Committee.
