Mi Leyenda Scholarship

Eligibility

• Identify as a first-generation college student.
• Be graduating from a Colorado high school in spring 2026.
• Plan to attend an accredited two-year or four-year institution beginning in fall 2026.
• Have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.3.
• Applicants below the 3.3 GPA threshold may be considered through an additional required writing piece.
• Demonstrate academic achievement, resilience, and a desire to build a lasting legacy within the community.

Requirements

• Complete the Mi Leyenda Scholarship application.
• Submit the required written responses.
• Provide academic and high school information.
• Complete an additional writing piece if applying with a GPA below 3.3.
• Complete all required Mi Leyenda Scholar program components if selected.
