Eligibility

  • Be a Montana resident.
  • Be a college junior or senior.
  • Be enrolled full time.
  • Study agribusiness, horticulture, agricultural education, agricultural science, agronomy, agricultural communication, crop science, or another qualifying field identified by MGGA.
  • Obtain the signature of a non-family MGGA member.

Requirements

  • Provide school involvement.
  • Provide community involvement.
  • Write the required agriculture essay of up to 500 words.
  • Submit two letters of recommendation.
  • Obtain the required MGGA-member signature.
  • Participate in an interview with the scholarship committee if selected.
