Eligibility

  • Be the dependent of a full-time Grand Sierra Resort & Casino or SAHARA Las Vegas employee.
  • The qualifying employee must have at least one year of service and remain in good standing.
  • Be a graduating senior or current college student entering a two- or four-year program.
  • Have at least a 3.0 GPA and demonstrate financial need.
  • Agree to maintain at least a 2.5 GPA while enrolled.

Requirements

  • Complete the online application.
  • Provide the most recent high-school or college transcript.
  • Write a 500–1,000 word essay about yourself, intended major, and candidacy.
  • Provide one reference letter from a teacher or community leader.
  • Confirm enrollment and sign a scholarship acceptance agreement if selected.
