MCWT Scholarship Program

The Michigan Council of Women in Technology Foundation Scholarship Program supports women pursuing technology-related degrees at Michigan colleges, community colleges, and universities. In addition to financial support, recipients receive mentoring and assistance connecting with internship opportunities through MCWT's statewide technology community.

Eligibility

  • Be a United States citizen.
  • Be a current Michigan resident.
  • Be a female student.
  • Have a minimum GPA of 2.75.
  • Be enrolled or plan to enroll full-time at a Michigan college, community college, or university.
  • Pursue a technology-related degree during the applicable academic year.

Requirements

  • Complete the MCWT Scholarship Program application during the published application window.
  • Provide all academic, educational, and supporting information requested in the current application.
  • Demonstrate plans to pursue a technology-related degree and career.

How to Apply

  1. 1Confirm Michigan residency, U.S. citizenship, and a minimum 2.75 GPA.
  2. 2Confirm full-time enrollment or planned enrollment at a Michigan college, community college, or university.
  3. 3Confirm that your major qualifies as technology-related.
  4. 4Complete the MCWT scholarship application when the annual application window opens.
  5. 5Provide all requested academic and supporting information.
  6. 6Submit the complete application by the published deadline.
  7. 7If selected, participate in MCWT's scholar mentoring program.
  8. 8Previous scholarship recipients may apply for renewal in subsequent years.
