Eligibility
- Meet the current eligibility requirements for the Basin Electric Member Cooperative Scholarship Program through McCone Electric Cooperative.
- Submit the application and all supporting materials directly to McCone Electric Cooperative.
- Be pursuing eligible postsecondary education.
Requirements
- Complete the scholarship application.
- Submit a recent academic transcript from high school, college, university, or trade school.
- Current college freshmen must also provide their high school transcript.
- Current college freshmen must submit ACT and/or SAT scores.
- Write the required essay about how electricity provided by your electric cooperative improves quality of life in your community.
- Submit the required applicant appraisal.
- Provide information about activities, community involvement, achievements, and honors.
How to Apply
- 1Complete the Basin Electric Member Cooperative Scholarship application.
- 2Prepare the required cooperative-electricity essay.
- 3Request the required applicant appraisal.
- 4Attach your recent academic transcript.
- 5If you are a current college freshman, attach your high school transcript and ACT and/or SAT scores.
- 6Submit the complete application to McCone Electric's office in Circle by February 6.
