Eligibility

  • Be certified or actively seeking certification through the Minnesota Agricultural Water Quality Certification Program.
  • Applicants with pending MAWQCP certification must receive approval from their certifier before scholarship funding can be awarded.
  • Be enrolled in a qualifying Farm Business Management program.
  • Complete the application in collaboration with a Farm Business Management instructor.
  • Complete a farm analysis if awarded.

Requirements

  • Complete the MAWQCP Farm Business Management Scholarship application.
  • Work with a Farm Business Management instructor to complete the application.
  • Provide MAWQCP certification information.
  • Provide college and Farm Business Management instructor information.
  • Report cumulative Farm Business Management credits.
  • Report other anticipated scholarships and financial aid.
  • Complete a farm analysis if selected.

How to Apply

  1. 1Confirm that you are MAWQCP certified or actively pursuing certification.
  2. 2Connect with a Farm Business Management instructor if you do not already have one.
  3. 3Complete the scholarship application with your FBM instructor.
  4. 4Provide your certification, college, instructor, credit, and financial-aid information.
  5. 5Submit the application by the applicable semester deadline.
  6. 6If awarded, complete the required farm analysis with your Farm Business Management instructor.
