Eligibility

  • Historically required applicants to be high school seniors.
  • Historically required applicants to be members of an underrepresented ethnic minority in engineering, specifically African American, Hispanic, or Native American students.
  • Historically required U.S. citizenship.
  • Historically required acceptance into an ABET-accredited engineering program at a four-year college or university.
  • The archived application listed a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5.
  • The archived application listed minimum SAT or ACT score requirements.

Requirements

  • Complete the archived scholarship application.
  • Submit a complete high school transcript.
  • Submit SAT and/or ACT scores.
  • Submit a resume or summary of internship, co-op, extracurricular, and community involvement.
  • Submit two faculty recommendation letters.
  • Respond to four required written questions.
