The Massachusetts Federation of Polish Women's Clubs Scholarship supports Massachusetts undergraduate students of Polish descent who are pursuing full-time studies in the United States. The scholarship is intended for students entering their second, third, or fourth year of undergraduate study and is awarded competitively based on academics, achievements, motivation, essay quality, recommendations, Polish-American community involvement, and financial need.

Eligibility

  • Be a United States citizen or legal permanent resident.
  • Be of Polish descent.
  • Be a resident of Massachusetts.
  • Be a college freshman, sophomore, or junior at the time of application.
  • Maintain a GPA of at least 3.0.
  • Pursue full-time undergraduate study in the United States.
  • Qualified residents of New England may be considered if no Massachusetts applicants apply.
  • The scholarship may be received only once.

  • Complete the Kosciuszko Foundation scholarship application.
  • Provide proof of Polish ancestry.
  • Submit the required essay or statement of purpose.
  • Provide a curriculum vitae or resume.
  • Submit official academic transcripts.
  • Submit the required academic recommendation letters.
  • Provide financial information requested by the Foundation.
  • Pay the $40 non-refundable application fee.
  • Ensure recommendation letters are submitted by the separate recommendation deadline.
