Eligibility

  • Be a Mason County resident enrolled in a post-high-school college or trade-school program.
  • Be a Regular or Associate Mason County Farm Bureau member or the child of a qualifying member.
  • Pursue agriculture, horticulture, or a related field.
  • First-time recipients receive priority consideration, but repeat recipients remain eligible.

Requirements

  • Complete the scholarship application.
  • Submit an essay of at least 500 words explaining why the applicant chose an agriculture or horticulture career and the impact they hope to have.
  • Provide the eligible Farm Bureau member's name and membership number.
  • Provide school and planned course-of-study information.
