Mississippi Association of Supervisors Minority Caucus Scholarship

Eligibility

• Be a graduating high school senior in Mississippi.
• Be accepted for admission to a technical school, community college, senior college, or university located in Mississippi.
• Submit a complete application and all required supporting materials.

Requirements

• Complete the Mississippi Association of Supervisors Minority Caucus scholarship application.
• Prepare a one-page biography describing accomplishments, extracurricular activities, leadership positions, and community service experiences.
• Provide two signed letters of recommendation, including one from a high school official and one from a community leader.
• Provide an official transcript showing the first semester of senior year.
• Provide an acceptance letter from a Mississippi institution of higher learning.
• Write a typed, double-spaced essay between 500 and 1,000 words on one of the scholarship's designated topics.
• Provide a list of your local, state, and congressional elected officials, including addresses and telephone numbers.
• Combine the application and all supporting documents into one PDF for submission through the application portal.
