Maryland Grain Production Scholarship

Eligibility

• Be a non-member applicant under the Maryland Grain Producers Association scholarship program.
• Attend or plan to attend a postsecondary institution.
• Study agriculture or an agriculture-related field that can benefit the agricultural industry.
• Meet all additional student eligibility requirements published for the applicable scholarship cycle.

Requirements

• Complete the Maryland Grain Producers Scholarship Application.
• Provide high school and college academic information as applicable.
• Provide information about agriculture coursework, extracurricular activities, leadership positions, employment, internships, activities, and awards as applicable.
• Provide contact information for one reference.
• Complete the required Production Scholarship essay questions.
• Submit the complete application and essays by the annual deadline.

How to Apply

1. 1Complete the shared Maryland Grain Producers Scholarship Application and select the Production Scholarship.
2. 2Provide the requested academic, agricultural, extracurricular, leadership, employment, and activity information.
3. 3Provide the requested reference information.
4. 4Choose one of the optional essay prompts and complete the required agriculture-challenges essay.
5. 5Type the essays in a separate document and submit them with the application.
6. 6Submit the complete application by the published deadline.
