Maryland Grain Honoree Scholarship

Eligibility

• Have the qualifying Maryland Grain Producers Association farmer-member connection required by the current scholarship application.
• Attend or plan to attend a postsecondary institution.
• Pursue agriculture or an agriculture-related field that can benefit the agricultural industry.
• Meet all membership and student eligibility requirements published for the applicable scholarship cycle.

Requirements

• Complete the Maryland Grain Producers Scholarship Application.
• Provide applicable Maryland Grain Producers Association membership information.
• Provide high school and college academic information as applicable.
• Provide information about agriculture classes, extracurricular activities, leadership positions, employment, internships, activities, and awards as applicable.
• Provide contact information for one reference.
• Complete the required scholarship essay questions.
• Submit the complete application and essays by the annual deadline.

How to Apply

1. 1Confirm that you meet the Maryland Grain Producers Association membership requirements for the Honoree Scholarship.
2. 2Complete the shared Maryland Grain Producers Scholarship Application and select the Honoree Scholarship.
3. 3Provide the requested academic, agricultural, extracurricular, leadership, employment, and activity information.
4. 4Provide the requested reference information.
5. 5Choose one of the optional essay prompts and complete the required agriculture-challenges essay.
6. 6Type the essays in a separate document and submit them with the scholarship application.
7. 7Submit the complete application by the published deadline.
