Eligibility

  • Be a Maryland resident.
  • Be enrolled in an accredited Maryland nursing education program.
  • Preference is given to students enrolled in an Associate Degree Nursing program.
  • Maintain an overall GPA of at least 3.0 under the Nursing Foundation of Maryland's general scholarship criteria.
  • Demonstrate financial need.
  • Demonstrate academic achievement.
  • Demonstrate community service.
  • Demonstrate commitment to and potential for leadership in nursing.
  • Have not previously received a Nursing Foundation of Maryland scholarship.

Requirements

  • Complete the Nursing Foundation of Maryland scholarship application process.
  • Submit the required letter of application.
  • Provide at least two letters of reference.
  • At least one reference must come from current nursing faculty.
  • Provide the information necessary to demonstrate financial need.
  • Submit all materials required for the current scholarship cycle.
