Eligibility

  • Be a Mississippi resident.
  • Be currently enrolled and in good standing at a Mississippi School of Nursing.
  • Have at least a 3.0 GPA.
  • First preference is given to practicing school nurses employed in Mississippi school districts.
  • Second preference is given to students in BSN or higher nursing programs.

  • Submit an official transcript showing at least a 3.0 GPA.
  • Provide a letter from the school verifying enrollment and good academic standing.
  • Submit a 1,000-word essay addressing your role as a nurse leader.
