Eligibility

  • Be currently enrolled in or accepted into an accredited nursing program at Boise State University, Idaho State University, or Lewis-Clark State College.
  • Pre-licensure nursing students may apply.
  • RN-to-BSN students may apply.
  • Graduate-level nursing students may apply.
  • Preference may be given to residents of Idaho.
  • Meet all additional Idaho Community Foundation requirements for the current cycle.

Requirements

  • Complete both pages of the official scholarship application.
  • Submit a copy of the most recent unofficial college transcript.
  • Submit a written statement between one and three pages.
  • Explain educational and career goals and why nursing was chosen as a career path.
  • Describe extracurricular activities, volunteer service, awards, honors, and leadership positions.
  • Describe work experience and whether the applicant plans to work while attending college.
  • Explain why the applicant should be selected for the scholarship.
  • Submit one reference letter from the higher-education institution the applicant attends.
  • Combine the application and all supporting documents into one PDF file.
