MAPA Road Construction & Asphalt Industry Scholarship

The Minnesota Asphalt Pavement Association Road Construction & Asphalt Industry Scholarship supports students pursuing two- or four-year education leading to careers in road construction and the asphalt pavement industry. MAPA partners with the Minnesota Technology and Engineering Educators Association to provide up to ten student scholarships annually.

Eligibility

  • Be interested in pursuing a career in road construction or the asphalt pavement industry.
  • Pursue a qualifying two-year or four-year degree or related postsecondary program.
  • Qualifying fields may include Heavy Equipment Operation and Maintenance, Construction Management, Heavy Construction Equipment, Trucking, Diesel Maintenance, Construction Technology, Civil Engineering, or another related field.
  • Meet the requirements established for the current MAPA/MTEEA scholarship program.

Requirements

  • Complete the applicable scholarship application through the Minnesota Technology and Engineering Educators Association.
  • Provide information demonstrating interest in a road construction or asphalt-industry career.
  • Provide information about your qualifying postsecondary program.
  • Submit any supporting materials requested by MTEEA.
