Eligibility

  • Be a female high school senior from Maine.
  • Plan to pursue engineering or engineering technology studies.
  • Plan to attend an accredited college.

Requirements

  • Complete the Maine SWE scholarship application.
  • Submit a 300–500 word essay focused on interest in engineering and future plans.
  • Provide a copy of the student's transcript.
  • Provide official PSAT, SAT, or ACT scores if available.
  • Submit a letter of recommendation from a math or science teacher.
  • Provide information about activities, work history, academic performance, and intended college.
