The Maine SWE Scholarship encourages Maine high school senior girls to pursue engineering or engineering technology at an accredited college. Applicants are evaluated on academic achievement, motivation and work ethic, well-rounded involvement, and demonstrated interest in engineering.

Eligibility
- Be a female high school senior from Maine.
- Plan to pursue engineering or engineering technology studies.
- Plan to attend an accredited college.
Requirements
- Complete the Maine SWE scholarship application.
- Submit a 300–500 word essay focused on interest in engineering and future plans.
- Provide a copy of the student's transcript.
- Provide official PSAT, SAT, or ACT scores if available.
- Submit a letter of recommendation from a math or science teacher.
- Provide information about activities, work history, academic performance, and intended college.
