Magnifi Financial Scholarship

Eligibility

• Be a Magnifi Financial member in good standing.
• Plan to attend a qualifying accredited postsecondary institution during the applicable academic year.
• Eligible institutions include accredited colleges, universities, two-year and four-year community colleges, vocational schools, and technical colleges.
• Students may attend full time or part time.
• Traditional and non-traditional students are eligible.
• Applicants may be students of any age.
• Previous recipients of a Magnifi Financial or Central Minnesota Credit Union scholarship are not eligible.
• Magnifi Financial employees and their immediate family members are not eligible.

Requirements

• Complete the Magnifi Financial Scholarship application.
• Provide Magnifi Financial membership information.
• Provide educational and enrollment information.
• Submit either the required short essay or video response.
• Ensure the application reflects the applicant's own creative and original work.
• If selected, provide a fall transcript showing official grades and proof of registration for spring classes before scholarship funds are released.
• Selected recipients must maintain at least a 2.0 GPA or equivalent C average to receive scholarship payment.

How to Apply

1. 1Confirm that you are a Magnifi Financial member in good standing.
2. 2Confirm plans to attend an accredited qualifying postsecondary institution.
3. 3Complete the scholarship application through the Kaleidoscope application system.
4. 4Choose whether to submit the scholarship response as a short essay or video.
5. 5Reflect on the personal financial experiences and lessons that have shaped your understanding of financial success.
6. 6Explain how those lessons will help you achieve financial independence, make thoughtful financial decisions, and inspire others while pursuing your educational and career goals.
7. 7Submit the complete application before the annual deadline.
8. 8If selected, complete the fall term with at least a 2.0 GPA or C average.
9. 9Submit the required fall transcript and proof of spring registration to redeem the scholarship.
