Eligibility

  • Be an undergraduate Minnesota Agricultural Education-Teacher Licensure student.
  • Be student teaching between Spring 2027 and Spring 2028 for the 2026 scholarship cycle.
  • Be registered full time.
  • Attend Southwest Minnesota State University, University of Minnesota-Crookston, or University of Minnesota-Twin Cities when the scholarship is disbursed.
  • Plan to become a licensed agricultural education teacher.
  • Previous scholarship recipients may receive MAELC scholarship funding more than once.

  • Answer the required essay questions.
  • Submit an unofficial transcript.
  • Submit a resume.
  • Provide information about agricultural education experiences and career plans.
  • Provide financial-need information.
