- Become a Macomb County Farm Bureau member before receiving an award.
- Attend or volunteer at at least one Macomb County Farm Bureau-sponsored event.

- Complete the Macomb County Farm Bureau scholarship application.
- Submit an educational and career goals overview of no more than 500 words.
- Complete the required annual essay response.
- Attend or volunteer at an eligible Macomb County Farm Bureau event.
