Eligibility

  • Be a Maryland resident.
  • Be enrolled in an accredited Maryland Associate Degree Nursing program.
  • Have completed at least two semesters in a Maryland nursing program.
  • Demonstrate excellence in the art and science of nursing.
  • Maintain an overall GPA of at least 3.0 under the Nursing Foundation of Maryland's current general criteria.
  • Demonstrate commitment to and potential for leadership in nursing.
  • Have not previously received a Nursing Foundation of Maryland scholarship.

Requirements

  • Complete the Nursing Foundation of Maryland scholarship application process.
  • Submit the required letter of application.
  • Provide at least two letters of reference.
  • At least one reference must come from current nursing faculty.
  • Document completion of at least two semesters in a Maryland Associate Degree Nursing program.
  • Submit all required materials by the published deadline.
