Luther Tech Trac Student Sponsorship

The Luther Tech Trac Student Sponsorship Program supports technical college students preparing for automotive service and collision-industry careers. Selected students receive tuition sponsorship, paid part-time employment at a Luther dealership, hands-on mentorship, career development, and additional tool and employment-retention incentives.

Eligibility

  • Be pursuing a career as an automotive technician, body technician, paint and refinishing technician, glass technician, or graphics specialist.
  • Be recommended by an instructor or faculty member at your technical college or school.
  • Be at least 17 years old.
  • Be a high school graduate or have a GED.
  • Have a valid driver's license.
  • Meet enrollment requirements for admission to an accredited technical college or school program.
  • Remain a student in good standing through graduation.
  • Meet Luther employment requirements.
  • Interview with a Luther dealership service manager.
  • Perform satisfactorily in required part-time Luther employment while attending school.

  • Maintain good standing in the qualifying technical program.
  • Work part time at a participating Luther dealership while attending school.

How to Apply

  1. 1Confirm enrollment in an accredited technical program leading to an eligible automotive or collision-industry career.
  2. 2Speak with an instructor or faculty member about the required recommendation.
  3. 3Complete the Luther Tech Trac application.
  4. 4Interview with a Luther dealership service manager.
  5. 5If selected, receive a written program offer and attend the Tech Trac welcome and orientation event.
  6. 6Maintain satisfactory academic and employment performance while participating in the program.
