Louisiana Sheriffs' Educational Scholarship Program

The Louisiana Sheriffs' Educational Scholarship Program provides scholarships to graduating Louisiana high school seniors to help them continue their education at Louisiana colleges and universities. Scholarships are administered through participating parish Sheriff's Offices and funded by the Louisiana Sheriffs' Honorary Membership Program.

Eligibility

  • Be a permanent resident of Louisiana.
  • Reside in a parish where the Sheriff participates in the Louisiana Sheriffs' Honorary Membership Program.
  • Be a graduating high school senior.
  • Plan to enroll full-time at a Louisiana college, university, or other institution of higher education.
  • Immediate family members of the Sheriff are not eligible.

Requirements

  • Complete the Louisiana Sheriffs' Educational Scholarship application.
  • Submit the completed application to the Sheriff's Office in your parish of residence.
  • Meet any additional requirements established by your local Sheriff's Office.
