Eligibility

  • Be a United States citizen or eligible non-citizen.
  • Be a Louisiana resident for at least two years prior to July 1 immediately preceding the academic year of enrollment.
  • Maintain a minimum cumulative college GPA of 2.5.
  • Be enrolled full-time in a BESE-approved teacher preparation or alternate certification program at a participating Louisiana institution.
