The Louisiana Farm Bureau Foundation Linda & Wayne Zaunbrecher Scholarship supports graduating Louisiana high school seniors who plan to pursue agriculture-related studies at an accredited Louisiana college or university. Eligibility

  • Be a graduating Louisiana high school senior.
  • Applicant or applicant's parent must be a current member of the Louisiana Farm Bureau Federation.
  • Plan to pursue a major in agriculture, agricultural education, agribusiness, agriscience, or another agriculture-related field.
  • Maintain a minimum cumulative high school GPA of 2.5.
  • Attend an accredited Louisiana college or university during the fall and spring immediately following high school graduation.
  • Apply through only one parish Farm Bureau.

Requirements

  • Complete the Louisiana Farm Bureau Foundation scholarship application.
  • Meet the academic and membership eligibility requirements.
  • Maintain full-time enrollment in an agriculture-related major.
  • Maintain at least a 2.5 GPA for continued eligibility.
  • Maintain Louisiana Farm Bureau membership for renewal consideration.

How to Apply

  2. 2Submit the application through your parish Farm Bureau.
  3. 3Each parish Farm Bureau may nominate one applicant for statewide consideration.
  4. 4Selected recipients may reapply in subsequent years while maintaining academic, enrollment, major, and membership requirements.
