Eligibility

  • Be a first-time, full-time college freshman.
  • Plan to enroll at an accredited Louisiana college or university.
  • Declare a banking-related major, including fields such as management, technology, accounting, finance, marketing, mathematics, business administration, economics, education, or psychology.
  • Be employed by a Louisiana Bankers Association member bank located in Louisiana or have a parent employed by an LBA member bank located in Louisiana.
  • Maintain a minimum cumulative high school GPA of 3.0 or earn a minimum composite ACT score of 20.

Requirements

  • Complete the online scholarship application.
  • Submit a six- or seven-semester high school transcript.
  • Submit ACT scores.
  • Provide any additional documentation requested by the Louisiana Bankers Education Council.
  • Provide proof of acceptance to an accredited Louisiana college or university if selected.
